Whose shop this actually is

Fortify 24x7 owns this shop and Stars and Stripes Tech is the name over the window. The contract you enter is with Fortify 24x7. The bill arrives from Fortify 24x7. The engineers who pick up the phone work for Fortify 24x7. Every page here says as much, for the single reason that nobody should learn it later.

What one line on the board buys

A catalog line is one managed capability, running on the platform its spec card names, looked after by our engineers. Paying for it gets you that capability at the count you chose, for as long as the money keeps arriving and the service keeps running.

Department pages count as part of this deal. Each carries a block headed with where that counter ends. Those blocks exist to be leaned on later, so they belong at the front of your reading rather than the back of it.

How the money moves

• Cards, and nothing besides. No invoices on 30 day terms, and paper checks, wire transfers and coins of every description get turned away at this counter.
• A subscription covers one month and settles before that month opens. The register collects the first payment, then the same square on the calendar comes round again.
• Stripe runs the charge. Handling the card belongs to them, and keeping it is never something we do.
• FORTIFY 24X7 is the wording a bank statement carries.
• Whatever the register shows is whatever gets taken. Sales tax, in the states that want it, is calculated in that same place.
• Reprice a line you are already holding and you hear about it a full month ahead, with room to walk before it bites.

When a card gets declined

A charge that bounces gets another attempt and you get a note. Ignore the note long enough and the subscription goes into suspension. We push hard to reach an actual human before that, since turning off somebody's protection over a card that merely expired serves nobody at all. Waking a suspended service can carry redeployment work with it.

What we owe you

Skill and care in delivering the order. Platforms underneath kept in good working order. A staffed desk for alerts and for cases. And straight answers about what we find in your building, the mornings when the fault is ours included.

What you owe us

• Truthful numbers when we scope, above all the device count and which platforms are genuinely in the building.
• Access enough to install agents and to hook up the tenants you nominated for cover.
• A named human who can allow or refuse an exception without booking a room to discuss it.
• Authority over the machines and accounts you nominate, which you confirm by nominating them.
• A quick heads up as people move on, as kit retires, and as your counts drift.

Promises we are not making

No arrangement in this trade halts every incident, and a supplier hinting theirs does is selling equipment that was never manufactured. There is no warranty here that every threat gets caught, that nothing is ever lost, or that everything stays upright without a break.

Each department page marks out its own limits. Those markings are terms of this contract. Nobody added them at the end to take the edge off.

Where liability stops

So far as the law allows:

• Indirect and consequential loss is owed by neither of us to the other. That takes in profit which never arrived, work that went to somebody else, and standing you believe slipped.
• However a claim is framed, everything we could owe caps at the money you paid for the line concerned across the twelve months running up to the trouble.
• Certain liability nobody may sign away. None of the above tries.

Your material stays yours

Whatever sits in your environment stays yours. We handle it only so that the service runs, on the terms our privacy notice. No wording on this page grants us permission to use your material for anything other than filling the order.

Walking away

Go when it suits you, by portal or by letter. Departure lands once the period you funded expires. Money we already hold is dealt with on a page of its own, the refund policy sets out the whole of it.

We can suspend or finish things ourselves if payment stops, if the use is illegal, or if somebody's behavior endangers our people or another customer. Barring a genuine emergency you are told first and given room to fix it.

Changes to these terms

Nothing here is carved in stone. Material edits show up on this page under a fresh revision date, and if an edit touches a subscription that is live, the account holder hears from us directly. Carrying on using the service once an edit is in force is how you accept it.

The leftovers

A clause that fails leaves the others standing. Declining to enforce a right on some particular Tuesday does not surrender that right forever. What binds us both is this page, plus the department pages, plus the policies linked from around the shop, read together.

The law where Fortify 24x7 is organized applies here, and its courts hear whatever the two of us prove unable to settle ourselves.
